DAY TRIP
Wild, beautiful and dangerous animals in an ancient Italian Castle? Crocodiles, piranha, toadfish and many other beasts are just a part of the colorful and blooming jungle of Oasi Sant'Alessio. You can find this amazing green maze just about 40 minutes away from Milan. This incredible Oasi was found in 1973 on the lands of the fascinating fortress of Sant’Alessio built back in far 1413.
EXHIBITION
While her relevance was remarkably underrated until recently, Plautilla Nelli proves to be a critically important figure of the Renaissance. At a time when women were limited, Nelli did something unconventional: she taught herself to paint. Nelli’s Last Supper, the only known one made by a female artist, has been restored for permanent exhibition at Santa Maria Novella. As one of the largest works created by early known female artist, Nelli’s Last Supper is a remarkable testimony for both her skill and boldness.

The trip was wonderful overall and everything that you planned for us was absolutely seamless. We truly appreciated the choices you made about private car pick-ups vs taxi. The tours were exactly with what we were looking for our first trip to Italy and provided a nice mix of history and local experiences.

Working with Pia and Cultural Italy was fantastic and easy. We picked a trip package that was close to what we wanted and then worked with Pia on customizing it to be exactly what we wanted and more. We had the best Honeymoon and enjoyed our time on the Amalfi Coast so much thanks to the brilliant planning of Pia and Cultural Italy. They did such a fantastic job, we cannot recommend them enough and we will be using them in the future for all of our Italy vacations. VINCI - Una grande notizia per gli appassionati di arte e di Leonardo in particolare. La mostra “Leonardo a Vinci. Alle origini del Genio”, che ospita il paesaggio del maestro, suo primo disegno autografo, e i documenti di epoca medievale e rinascimentale che raccontano i suoi primi anni vissuti a Vinci, non chiuderà i battenti il 15 ottobre prossimo bensì rimarrà aperta fino al 6 gennaio 2020. La proroga è stata decisa dalla giunta comunale di Vinci, a seguito dell’enorme successo che ha riscosso l’esposizione, registrando un numero di visitatori letteralmente da record.

I am happy to report we had a wonderful time visiting Italy, due to your attention to detail. Amalfi was wonderful. It is an amazing area to visit and the drive through the area is an adventure for sure. Rome: The hotel was wonderful, best pillows ever, as was our guide in Rome. The Tuscany country side was fabulous. Florence was good. Our hotel was excellent. Our drivers were really excellent and we were thankful to have each of our pickups. The guides were excellent. To name one highlight would be difficult because it seemed that each day brought us something new and awe inspiring.
