Luci d'Artista (Artist’s Lights), has become a very well-acclaimed contemporary art exhibition both nationally and internationally, and it takes place in Turin and Salerno. This 16th edition - from November 1st, 2013 to January 12th, 2014 - will surely attract a large number of visitors, as new and upcoming artists from all over the world will present their installations which will light up streets, squares, and spaces of these 2 geographically and culturally opposite cities.

Lorenzo Lotto: A Timeless Journey Through Italian Art

Currently, several of Lotto's masterpieces are gracing various Italian museums. The Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan is showcasing the "Portrait of Laura da Pola" (1543), on loan from the Gallerie d’Italia in Naples. This painting, featuring Laura da Pola in an exquisitely embroidered dress holding a white feather fan, creates a thematic bridge to the 19th-century work of Domenico Morelli. Both paintings, displayed side by side until April 1st, 2024 offer a fascinating glimpse into the elegance of their eras.

Festa del Cinema di Roma 2022: The new international competition begins.

Gearing up to compete with notables like the Cannes Film Festival, this year's Rome Film Fest kicks off its 17th year with a new international competition component. Held at Parco Della Musica Auditorium and other locations throughout Rome, screenings, red carpet events, and digital streamings run through October 23rd. Coinciding with the independent young adult film festival Alice Nella Città, this festival brings a variety of world premiers and screenings from Oscar-winning favorites, new debut filmmakers, and cult-comedy favorites.
